Layers of Time II -Memory Light Boxes is a site-specific installation that explores memory through light, surface, and enclosure. A light-based installation created by projecting archival portraits onto surfaces of decay, re-photographing them, and transforming them into illuminated boxes placed on the façade of the old Modesteios School in Pisoderi. The faces—caught between presence and disappearance—re-emerge through light, becoming fragile monuments of memory in the nocturnal landscape. The work shifts between image and object, visibility and concealment, allowing faces from the past to emerge as fragile, suspended presences.
