BIO
I was born and live in Florina, Greece. I am a teacher og greek litterarure and teach at a Second Chance School. I have been involved with photography since 2009. I have attended photography courses within the photo groups “Roes” of the Florina Cultural Club and “FOK” in Komotini, as well as various photography seminars. I have participated in photography workshops with Artifactory, Eleni Mouzakiti, Platon Rivellis and Maro Kouri.
In 2025, I completed the MA programme “Visual Arts and Landscape” at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, School of Fine Arts, University of Western Macedonia. I am responsible for the photographic archive of the Forestry Cooperative of Pisoderi, Florina. I am also a member of WALC (Walking Arts @ Local Communities).
I have held two solo exhibitions in Florina and have participated in numerous group exhibitions in various cities in Greece. My photographs have been distinguished in national and international photography competitions.
As a next stage, I have also been working with projection mapping. I am interested in the capacity of light to function as a vessel of memory and to reactivate place, transforming buildings into living narrative surfaces where the image coexists with architectural history.My approach is grounded in a synthesis of archival material, digital manipulation, sound, movement, and poetic illumination, a process through which the past converses with the present. The result is an embodied experience for the viewer, in which the projections operate as rituals of remembrance.
I am a visual artist working with photography as material, focusing on site-specific practices, archival imagery, and memory-based installations. My work explores the relationship between place, collective memory, and lived experience through projections, spatial interventions, and light-based installations.
My artistic interests revolve around memory, history, loss, traces inscribed on the landscape, and silence. I approach these themes through photography, digital compositions and projection-based work, seeking to transform reality into a poetic, subterranean visual narrative.
