A walk with my mother

April 2012. It was Easter. The biggest celebration of Christianity. My mother and I had gone to a village in the area of Ptolemaida, where a cousin of mine lives with her family to have lunch together. As soon as we arrived, the lamb was already on the spit. There we met other relatives. We exchanged wishes, told our news, took photos and then sat around the table. It was nice and we were like a family. We finished relatively early and we left in the afternoon. Then I had the idea to drive to some villages we had never been to before. It was spring. The weather was mild and the sky was full of clouds, that created a beautiful atmosphere. We discovered a village, where it was a peaceful lake and green meadows all around. We were enchanted by the unexpected beauty. I started taking pictures. The walk on the lake, the herd that appeared in the background, the wonderful clouds, but mainly the relaxation that overwhelmed us remained indelible in my memory and that Easter was unforgettable. I can say that my mother felt the same way. That walk was worth it!
